  Philip Gable was named as the recipient of the 2009 Kunze Prize.

  Dr. Eddie Harmon-Jones, in collaboration with Jennifer Beer at the University of Texas, has just published a new work on neurobiological methods for the study of human social behavior.

• Psychology graduate students win AFS Research Awards

  Chris Hopwood and Annie Hsueh were awarded AFS Research Awards in a ceremony on March 25th, 2009.

• Setlow awarded major NIDA grant

  Professor Barry Setlow was recently awarded a major grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

• TAMU Clinical Psychology identified as Top 10 Clinical Program

  The Clinical Psychology program at Texas A&M University as been identified as one of the Top 10 Clinical programs in the country based upon rankings of faculty scholarly productivity.

• Bizon book on aging published by Humana Press

  A volume edited by Professor Jen Bizon on Animal Models of Human Cognitive Aging was recently published by the Humana Press.

• Hull wins SLATE Teaching Award

  Professor Rachel Hull was named as an award recipient in the inaugural round of SLATE Teaching Awards.

Five Psychology Professors--Mark G. Packard, John F. Edens, Leslie C. “Les” Morey, Eddie Harmon-Jones, and Barry Setlow--were among an elite group of researchers listed in “Essential Science Indicators,” (ESI) an analytical resource for tracking research performance and trends in science. “Essential Science Indicators” is produced by Thomson Scientific, the scientific & healthcare arm of The Thomson Corporation.
