- TAMU Psychology recruiting for multiple positions
As part of the University Faculty Reinvestment program, the Psychology Department is recruiting for multiple tenure track positions in Clinical, Cognitive, Social, and Africana Studies. The Department is also targeting a senior position in Behavioral and Cellular Neuroscience.
- TAMU Clinical Psychology identified as Top 10 Clinical Program
The Clinical Psychology program at Texas A&M University as been identified as one of the Top 10 Clinical programs in the country based upon rankings of faculty scholarly productivity.
- Heffer, Balsis win Teaching Excellence Awards
Professors Rob Heffer and Steve Balsis were named as recipients in the Spring 2009 round of Teaching Excellence Awards.
- Setlow awarded major NIDA grant
Professor Barry Setlow was recently awarded a major grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse.
- Miner-Rubino awarded NSF Grant
Dr. Kathi Miner-Rubino receives NSF grant to study college women's academic experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
- Edens awarded NIMH grant to study contextual processes in prisoner research
Dr. John Edens receives NIMH grant to study contextual influences in research participation by prisoners.
- Schmeichel receives NSF research grant
Dr. Brandon Schmeichel has received a grant from NSF to study impulsivity and self-control.
- Eddie Harmon-Jones awarded NSF grant
Professor Eddie Harmon-Jones has been award a grant to study the relationships between positive emotion and anger.
