My primary area of study in clinical-forensic psychology focuses on the assessment of personality pathology with a particular emphasis on features of antisocial and psychopathic personality disorder. I am interested in using multi-method techniques to evaluate emergent conceptualizations of psychopathy that consider interpersonal dominance and fearlessness to be relevant components of the disorder, especially in terms of predicting maladaptive outcomes. In addition, my research investigates layperson perceptions of psychopathy and the role of psychopathy evidence in a variety of clinical and legal decision-making processes.
